Twinkies

It's not that I am topical, whatsoever.  It's that I care about sweets.  I have never been a Twinkie person, but you can bet I've never paid more attention to them.  The end of anything, is a tragic thing.  Add Americana, cake, fake cream and preservatives to it and I'm nearly in tears. 

My cousin gave me this box with one Twinkie in it.  I should make a ceremony of eating it and say goodbye to it and lots of other things.  Goodbye old friends... goodbye...

There isn't much that Kat Von D gets up to, that I don't think is cool.  Her new clothing line is no exception.  The website doesn't feature what will surely become a vast accessory collection, but this website has some pictures of what's to come.  How fun!

Makeup Table

My makeup table is looking quite nice, if I do say so myself.  Got new brushes from Sephora.  The IZAK collection.  They took a couple of days to dry fully, so I haven't used them yet, but they have all the marks of outstanding brushes, so far.  SUPER excited.

Underthings

When I get new things, I like to set them up like a boutique, for the first little while, before they get into life-rotation.  I thought these looked pretty, all lined up.

I found this exquisite mermaid on We Love Pastel Hair.  I think this girl is so, so pretty.  Can you imagine walking around and being this incredible?

Fresh Start

It has been a while since I did a blog post.  Many, many things have happened since the last.  THE MOST WONDERFUL thing happened, yesterday.  I met up with my first Pierfederici.  Faust Pierfederici.  I can't believe how it all felt.  To know a NEW RELATIVE who is from my FATHER'S SIDE... too, too much to write.  Pics of us, from our wonderful lunch at Aroma!

Posh Paradise and Styledriven

Went to the MAC store, this weekend, at the Malibu Country Mart.  Picked up a lipstick and was getting really excited about all kinds of things in there.  The sales girl told me there was a sneak peek at the Posh Paradise and Styledriven, collections.  It was so fun to pass through this silver-stringed curtain and check out the goods, in a way that felt special.  I swatched everything and picked out some favorites.  Posh Paradise launches on 9/15 and Styledriven, on 9/22.  Temptalia has the scoop!  Along with photos!

Scarlett Johansson

Went on a search to find some pretty, copyable, tan/gold eye-looks.  Started to come across pics of the incredible Scarlett Johansson.  I haven't ever been too obsessed with her face or anything, but my GOD, if you spend even a moment looking at pics of her, you'll be overcome (at least I was!).  WHAT a beauty.  What a beauty.  And SO good with SO many looks!  Blond is my fave, though.  The soft, honey blond.
