My neighbor/friend, Diana, brought me this! It's like a quiche in filo dough. It's a version of Spanakopita, but without the spinach! It was SO rich and SO good.

see more Epic Fails
It's not just the girl falling... it's the moment, captured forever in time, of how the dude is laughing. That, I believe, is a photograph of reckless abandon. Laughing with absolutely no control.
Love.

Tee Time

I have to say, I kind of love this. I wear really large tees because I like the roominess of them. I don't mind a tightness on the lower half of me, but the top has to be loose and comf. I feel like it's more flattering this way.
This tee is kind of taking "looseness" to a new level. A level I'm feelin'.
Magic Eyes!
I have NO IDEA WHY, but I'm terribly comforted by Magic Eyes. I'm super good at them, for some reason, so I thought I'd post a bunch. Btw- if you click on the images, they'll get bee-ger.
If you're good at them, you're going to FLIP over this one. It's animated! So I couldn't post the pic all by itself.

An image after my own heart (slightly hard to do with the image of Yo Semite Sam on there, but the challenge is fun, too!)

X-Mas Party!
Diana cooked some of the most delicious food. I ate a bunch of this
Spanakopita. Ooh... so spanakopita-ey.
Greens, celery root, cheese plate...
SUCH a beautiful table setting.
We're so cute.
Wider shot of the table, on which we ate.
Sweetest crew.
What a wonderful Christmas!!

Oh Christmas Tree
I haven't ever made a Christmas tree, in my life. I mean- by myself. I don't know why, but I thought it was time. It just felt right this year. I'm Jewish and I like to claim that, but after all, I wasn't driven to light my Menorah either. And by "my," I mean "a," because I don't own one. So... this year... in the pouring rain... I drove the family's arses (human and otherwise) to a tree lot, in the POURING rain, and collected my first tree. It cost $22 and was my favorite investment of the season.
Yeah... it's my version of decorations. Christmas skulls... yeah what!?
Lastly, not leastly, here is Kaitlin's mid-day coffee. Talk about making a bit of art for no reason! I mean... well... I wasn't talking about that, but I think about it a lot. How I sometimes suppress making something beautiful because I'm like- where will it go? Who is going to see it??? This is a perfect example of the anthesis of that thinking. Kaitlin makes one of these for no one but herself. I love, love, love it. And speaking of love... check out Hula. She might be enjoying it, just a little, too.
Yay! Yay for art!

Pizza and a Side of Hulu
Last night I got down on some Larchmont Village Pizzeria. Super delish. Got the Greek Pizza, which I didn't take a picture of, but looked something like this-

Went with Eric and Candace and AK and Sela. Something that seldom gets done, but should be done more (by me). I forget that there are other people in the world of production, who can completely understand what all of our lives are like. It's incredible what sharing can do.
I kind of quietly deal... whatever goes on, I like to work out internally. Sometimes I think- if you rely on external things to pacify or soothe you, you may reach and those things won't be there. So I like to work it out from within. However... it's nice to just let go. Let loose and know that sometimes you can just feel other people and have fun... and that's enough. Good times. Good to feel so good.
I've also been hitting the Hulu. It's super sweet. The commercials are unobtrusive and the quality is SICK. I just put it on in the background at work and let it play.
I don't have cable so it's a way to both see shit I've never seen and re-watch shows I don't have on DVD. This one above- Better Off Ted- ain't so bad. It's no prior Portia de Rossi work, but it's fine. The characters are likable enough and I love seeing that blond in action. Either way- go Hulu!
